Implementing user-defined models

Post by user »

Can subroutines (e.g. material models, response curves, etc.) that I have developed, or am about to develop, be implemented in SeismoStruct?

Yes, they can. If these are useful, we will gladly implement your subroutines in any of our programs. All we require is that, in addition to the source code, you provide us also with a technical publication whereby the scientific authorship and a theoretical insight to the models can both be found. Should you agree to it, we will include in the program's interface and/or manual a reference to the scientific author(s) of the models or algorithms you're supplying us with. Note that we do not envisage any sort of present or future financial recompense, of either parts, in exchange for this operation, and that you agree to have no other claim of any kind from SeismoSoft, but for the correct and continuous referencing of your model or algorithm. To learn more about the procedure followed in such cases (e.g. programming language to use, input/output variables, etc.), please contact us directly.
